I agree with your comments ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!!!!!! Country music has become a haven for wannabe outlaws and musicians(?) who can''t make it work in other genres. Rap and country? Give me a break. The legends of country would have a full blown revolt if they were here right now. The ones that are still around and God bless them, have little or no comment about this new generation of music.

Outlaw country such as Waylon, Willie, Hank Jr., David Allen Coe, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, stand the test of time. Music from the heart and life experiences. No pretend lifestyle that can be taken off like a coat and put back on again for interviews and concerts!

Play a little "Live from Folson Prison" for some younger generations today...I guarantee they''ll find a track or two they like. All''s Shooter Jennings is trying to do is express his musical views and life experiences. Who is the musical critic to judge if it''s country-enough or has the feel of the Blues? Enjoy Shooter and the other musicians who are "keeping it real" for those of us who seek out and enjoy real country music.
