Press ReleasesDreamWorks Nashville artist Tracy Lawrence heads to Texarkana Golf Ranch (Texarkana, TX) April 24- 25 to host his ninth annual Tracy Lawrence Golf Classic benefiting the Alzheimer's Assn. of Western Arkansas and The Tracy Lawrence Charities. “I'm looking forward to getting out there on the course,” says Lawrence. “I don't get to play very often so my game is far from perfect right now, but this tournament is just a really, really fun couple of daysI want the funds we generate to contribute a little help, hope and happiness back to society. I've been so fortunate. Giving back is extremely important to me.” The kickoff gala on Sunday (24) includes a cocktail party, auction, a 4-wheeler raffle, and performances by Lawrence, Curb/Asylum recording group Trick Pony, and RCA recording act Jeff Bates. Former Texas Ranger Will Clark is also scheduled to appear at this event.
The golf tournament on Monday (25) will feature morning and afternoon flights. The playing format is a 4-person, 18-hole scramble. Entry fees are $125 per person and include green fee, cart, gift package, lunch, and two tickets to the kickoff gala. The afternoon flight is limited to the first 30 teams. All others will be placed in the morning flight. Individual tickets to the kickoff gala are $35.
